Strategy

Jump when they are moving away from where you want to go.

Appears in

Bouncy Block

Bouncy Blocks are enemies that can be destroyed. They have 30 / 50 / 70 / 90 health, with 50% more health in flooded levels. They bounce around almost randomly.

Strategy

  • Keep a distance between Shelly and the Bouncy Blocks.
  • They can also be damaged by falling blocks.

Appears in

Drone

Drones are flying enemies that can be destroyed. They have 10 health. They fly around attempting to catch Shelly by predicting their movement.

Strategy

  • Similarly to Bouncy Blocks, the optimal strategy is to keep a distance.
  • They can also be destroyed with the ball.

Appears in

Fish

Fish are enemies that appear exclusively in Chapter C (And in some flooded levels in other chapters). They move either horizontally or vertically, speeding up when Shelly is near them.

Strategy

  • Wait until they get past Shelly, since they cannot turn around without having to hit a wall.

Appears in

Jellyfish

They were given a light pointing towards their target.

Appears in

Baby Squid

Baby Squid is an enemy that appears exclusively to Chapter C. It races Shelly to the end of a level, and if it reaches the end before Shelly does, Shelly dies. It may also take shortcuts that Shelly is unable to.

Strategy

  • Use the water currents to your advantage.

Appears in

Piranha

Pirahnas are enemies that mostly appear in Chapter C, but also appear in Chapter E. They try to get to Shelly as quickly as they can. They have 20 / 20 / 20 / 30 health.

  • TBA

Appears in

Protector

Protectors start going right towards Shelly when in range.

Strategy

Using high amounts of vertical speed can easily bypass them. Circling around them to reduce their acceleration can also be helpful.

Appears in

Minion

Movement

When in range, they will try to get in the way of Shelly. They move very similarly to Shelly but with more jumps and with lower gravity. The lower gravity makes it fall slowly.

Strategy

TBA

Appears in

Evil Snail

Movement

When in range, they will move inverse to Shelly.

Strategy

Get them out of the way if you can't try to get below/above them.

Projectiles fired by the player deal 1.5 / 2 / 2.5 / 2.5 damage to these enemies.
Regular turrets deal 0.9 / 1 / 1.1 / 1.2 damage, splash turrets deal 0.5 damage, and sniper turrets deal 25 damage.

Small

Small enemies appear in groups of five or more with 4.9 / 6.062 / 7.231 / 8.4 HP each. Splash turrets are best against these.

Appears in

Normal

Normal enemies appear in groups of three with 7 / 8.66 / 10.33 / 12 HP each. Regular turrets are best against these.

Appears in

Big

Big enemies only appear one at a time with 56 / 69.28 / 82.64 / 96 HP. When they are destroyed, they burst into a ring of 10 / 16 / 20 / 25 slow bullets. Sniper turrets are best for these.

Appears in

Jammer

Jammer enemies only appear one at a time with 56 / 69.28 / 82.64 / 96 HP. They can disarm one nearby turret every 5 seconds, with an initial delay of TBA / TBA / TBA / TBA seconds directly after they spawn. Turrets cannot be disarmed until 10 seconds after they have been rearmed by the player, or if the player is too close to the turret. Like big enemies, they burst into a ring of 10 / 16 / 20 / 25 slow bullets when destroyed. Although using sniper turrets from a distance can help, it is best to kill them manually.
