Squid is the evil AI antagonist and final boss of Will You Snail?.
Behavior
Phase 1 (E17):
In this phase, Squid has four attacks that he cycles between, in this order:
- Missiles: Squid fires multiple homing missiles. These missiles will remain for TBA seconds or until they are shot or they hit a wall.
- Follow: Squid will follow Shelly for TBA seconds. He will gradually accelerate during this attack.
- Blast: Squid moves to the center of the level and fires multiple square projectiles similar to the ones fired by Mr. D.A.N.C.E.
- Lasers: Squid creates multiple lasers that activate in the order they were spawned in, i.e. the first lasers will activate first.
Once 33% of his health is lost, Squid will take away Shelly's upwards gun and replace it with a horizontal gun. The horizontal gun can be found in the same place as the upwards gun. Once 66% of his health is lost, Squid will take away Shelly's upwards gun and replace it with a downwards gun. The downwards gun can be found at the lower part of the center of the level.
Phase 2 (E18):
Squid has four attacks in this phase with no set cycle:
- Teleport: Squid creates a marker where Shelly currently is and will teleport in that location after TBA seconds. The amount of time it takes for him to teleport decreases with his HP. Once he loses more than 50% HP in this phase, he will gain the ability to use this attack more than once in a row.
- Dash: Squid goes backwards in the direction he will dash in, and then dash after TBA seconds. The amount of time it takes for him to dash decreases with his HP. Once he loses more than 50% HP in this phase, he will gain the ability to use this attack more than once in a row.
- Spikes: Squid spawns spikes in positions he predicts Shelly will be at. He cannot use both this attack and the fireworks attack simultaneously.
- Fireworks: Squid spawns fireworks from him which explode in positions he predicts Shelly will be at. He cannot use both this attack and the spikes attack simultaneously.
With water
When his levels are flooded with water, both of Squid's phases don't change much. The only differences are drastic reductions in Squid's health, which are halved to compensate for the limited gun projectile range underwater, and Dronelly's border color changes to match Chapter C's color palette.

Trivia
- Squid’s fight is the only bossfight split between two levels.
- After the player fixes squid, the bossfight will simply be dronelly and the power since squid will permanently become absent from all of the levels.
